NeuraSys 3.0.0-24

2024-12-30

We are thrilled to share the new changes that come with the new version of NeuraSys. We are introducing virtualization! You can use the "virtualization" command to access the Hyper-V Management panel and create your own virtual system! With this version we are also introducing command auto-completion to help users type out commands. Just press "TAB" on your keyboard, and you'll get all available commands with the letters you've typed in. We also fixed some translation bugs, where the translations would return a key error, rather that the correct translation. We also fixed some known bugs and we are still happy for everyone that reports these kinds of issues to us! That's all for today. Stay tuned for further updates and changes! C:

NeuraSys 2.0.0-24

2024-12-15

We are happy to share the changes that followed the new version of NeuraSys. The most recognizeable change is the language system. We would like to reach more and more people by allowing them to use NeuraSys in their native language. We also added an update checkers, which notifies you, if a new version of NeuraSys is available. We also added automation capabilities. We also added the ablity to check battery status, which is helpful if you use NeuraSys on a laptop. We also fixed a lot of bugs, including translation problems and a setup screen freeze but, while also updating the licenses.txt for better legality. We are appreciative of the support and hope we could bring some joy to your faces. Stay tuned for further updates and changes! C:

NeuraSys 1.0.0-24

2024-12-06

We are excited to share the new, rework version of NeuraSys with you. We did a lot of testing and we - hopefully - fixed the crashes. Unfortunately, we already had to push the timeline because we didn't have enough time to finish the neccessary functions, so because of that, some functions are still missing, but we are working on them. We are still grateful, that after 1.5 months of work, we can release NeuraSys 1.0.0-24, which is a major rework in both, ease of use and performance than the previous version. We hope you can find a use in our Operating System and stay tuned for further updates and functionality changes.

NeuraSys V2D4

2024-10-28

We are thrilled to share the new possibilites that come with the new version of NeuraSys. We added two new commands, the "fileinfo" and the "settimezone" command. We also added customization options, such as changing the color of the terminal text. We also fixed two bugs, one was found in the "time" command, where - based on your region - special characters could be used, which gave a charmap error and crash the command. The other bug was coming from the "changeUser" command, where the group name was not asked, therefor the groups with the same username could log into each other's accounts. We also added details to the neurasys.exe file, which can help you identify the version number and other cool things. The last thing on our list is a very significant change: we've managed to decrease the size of the OS and the ISO file. We hope we could bring some joy by fixing bugs and adding functionilites. Stay tuned for further updates, we have a BIG one coming!

NeuraSys V2D3 Added Functionality 1

2024-10-23

We are happy to share the new functionalities that is included in the newest version of NeuraSys. First, we added update checks, which means that now (if you are connected to the Internet) you get notifications if a new version of NeuraSys has been released. This can be turned off in the 'controlPanel'. Secondly, we revised the "wifi" command, now you can disconnect from networks and we removed unnecessary text, so it's easier to understand what is going on. We fixed a minor bug, where - on some older computers - the program would just crash upon startup. We also added more logs, so you can understand an error better. We fixed a bug in the 'edit' command, where new lines weren't added when modifying and saving a file. We identified and fixed a small issue regarding 'userAuth'. As we do every time, we fixed translation errors and deleting unnecessary text when using the 'download' command, while also fixing not so important bugs to make the user experience better. As always, stay tuned for further updates and patches!

We are excited to share you the new functionalities that comes with the new version. After a week of development, SSH (setupSSH) is finally here: You can now remotely access your computer from anywhere in the world. Additionally, we added logs (can be found in the controlPanel) to help you better understand an error or to be able to forward that to a developer for fixing. We fixed some known bugs and translation errors. That's it for today, we hope we could add important changes and change some annoying bugs. Stay tuned for further updates!

NeuraSys V2D2

2024-09-27

We are honored to share the new version of NeuraSys with you. First of all, we added the "update" command, which lets you update your PC without reinstalling the whole operating system. Be aware, that this feature is still in BETA, and data loss and/or corruption MAY occur! Second of all, we reworked the "copy" command to be more efficient and added a progress bar too. The next modification is the "driveControl" command, which adds the ability to mount and eject ISOs/drives. We also moved the "listDrives" command into this menu. We had a lot of bugs with the "compress" command, so we decided to rewrite it from the ground up: We gave it new functionalities (E. g.: Being able to add folders to it) and also a progress bar. The last thing for today's update is a small change: from now on, commands are not case sensitive, meaning that you can type them however you want. We are glad we could fix some serious bugs and provide more and more improvements towards the software. Stay tuned for further updates or fixes! :)

NeuraSys V2D1

2024-09-19

We are thrilled to share with you the new version of NeuraSys. For the second main version of NeuraSys we bring a lot of new features and bug fixes for you. Fist of all, we changed the "run" command: now it opens another CMD prompt for running applications, so you don't have to manually create a new window. Secondly, we added the "compress" command, which is the opposite of "extract": with it you can now add multiple files to a ZIP file, which then can be extracted again. The next we added was "uptime", which shows the amount of time the computer has been on. Our next new command is "setTime", which lets you change the time of the system. You can choose from manual or automatic calibritaion, but the automatic setting requires an Internet connection. We removed one command, the "createShortcut" one. We improved our "userAuth" system, now all the settings are stored in only one JSON file. We also changed an option in "userAuth", from now on the default group cannot be changed, instead the login page can be enabled or disabled. We hope, we could bring important updates and fixes for, and stay tuned for further updates!

NeuraSys V1D6 AF1

2024-09-15

We are happy to share with you the new version of NeuraSys. We didn't have enough time to create a full update, but we fixed some bugs, translation errors, and even added new function! The first thing we added is the ability to change the monitor and/or computer timeout. This means, that after how many minutes does your screen fade or computer turns off. In addition, we replaced "laptopControl" with "controlPanel", and added these timeout settings there. We also added the ability to copy files from and to any drive (except C:\). We fixed a bug with task scheduler: now on laptops, by disabling "Start the task only if the computer is on AC power" you can automatically launch application when the computer starts up. We hope we could add or fix some lacking features and stay tuned for other - hopefully - bigger updates.

We are glad, that we can share today's new updates, we have a lot coming, so be prepared! This update concentrates on laptop users: we finally added the "wifi" command, which connects your device to the Internet. The next laptop-focused update is the "laptopControl" command, where you can adjust the brightness of the screen (works for most of the desktops too!) and check your battery status. In this update, we added the "setVolume" command, which let's you control your device's volume in percentages. We also removed the "startUp" command, which is being completely replaced by the "automation" command. In addition, we added the ability to extract files to any drive and to change to any drive (except C:\). We fixed some known bugs and translation errors too. We hope we could fix some problems, and stay tuned for further updates!

NeuraSys V1D5

2024-09-09

We are thrilled to share the fifth version of NeuraSys. We are introducing quite a lot of modifications: We added the ability to logout from the current user account using the "logout" command. For better server usage, we added two automation commands, "automation", which opens up task scheduler (default Windows one) and "startUp" which lets you add or remove files, that automatically startup when you start the system. We added a new "userAuth" option, now you can change permissions for existing groups. Last, but not least, we fixed many bugs and translation errors. We are working on the ability to open MP3/4 files and being able to use Wi-Fi, which is still in test phase. Stay tuned for these upcoming updates along with security and performance patches.
